That is a lot to answer.I’ll put it in a list for you. This is very general mind you.
Causes-
1. Aging
2. Genetics; it may run in the family
3. noise induced- listening to really loud sounds (this can be gradual or sudden depending on the power of the sound)
4. Sickness- in other words you get a sickness that effects your hearing or just a strong ear infection.

Symptoms of hearing loss:
1. hard time balancing or dizziness
2. hard time hearing loud sounds
3. asking people to constantly repeat themselves because you can’t hear them.
